A Huge Thank You to Connect'd & Power to Pitch

Building a startup as a solo founder (so far) is a thrilling but often solitary journey. You wear every hat, make every decision, and constantly navigate uncharted territory to bring your vision to life. But the truth is, no successful company is built entirely in a vacuum.

That is why I am incredibly proud and humbled to announce that Civic Decode has been selected as the winner of the Connect’d Strategic Advisory Grant!

I want to extend a massive thank you to Alex Rose and the entire team at Connect’d for believing in our mission to digitize zoning and modernize urban planning. As a solo founder navigating the complex intersection of GovTech, AI, and real estate, having access to Connect'd's top-tier advisory resources is an absolute game-changer. I am looking forward to diving in and taking full advantage of their strategic guidance to help scale Civic Decode to the next level.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Kat Weaver and the amazing program at Power to Pitch for helping us win our first grant. Navigating the grant application process can be daunting, but Kat’s guidance was instrumental in helping me distill Civic Decode’s complex technical mission into a clear and compelling story. Beyond just this grant, the strategies and tools Power to Pitch has already provided me in just a short amount of time have been invaluable in laying the foundation for a successful, sustainable business.

Building the future of cities is a massive undertaking, but with partners like Connect'd and Power to Pitch in our corner, I have never been more confident in the road ahead.
